An investigation into an accident that tragically resulted in the deaths of two people is currently being carried out by the Houston police department. The incident took place at the crossroads of Hillcroft Road and Fondren Road at approximately ten minutes before the clock struck ten years ago. A vehicle that had been involved in a collision with a pole was found by law enforcement officers when they were in close proximity to the Fondren off-ramp. Robert Dewaine Elliott, Jr. Died in Car Accident
On March 10, at approximately 4:56 in the morning, Robert Dewaine Elliott, Jr., who was 36 years old and from Andrews, was killed in an accident involving a single car. The crash took place on Earle Road, close to Seaboard Road, which is located four miles west of Andrews.
On Earle Road, Elliott was traveling in the northbound direction when his 1992 Chevrolet SUV went off the road to the right. According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway, Elliott incorrectly corrected his car, which resulted in the vehicle rolling over and landing in a ditch.
