Arben Kukaj Death – Arben Kukaj passed away on Thursday, March 14, following a motorcycle accident, he was a 23 years old. The crash involved an ambulance on Pelham Parkway before 7 p.m. Kukaj was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into a FDNY ambulance. According to officials, the ambulance was conveying two on-duty EMTs at the time of the crash. Kukaj was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries he had suffered in the crash.
The EMTS were hospitalized but are expected to be Okay. Footage of the aftermath shows the street blocked off and a Suzuki motorcycle lying on the ground in front of a police car. On Friday morning, pieces of the vehicles were seen on the sidewalk near the intersection of Pelham Parkway and Eastchester Road. Police say their collision investigation squad is investigating what led to the crash.
