Beth Muthoni Watuku, a 44-year-old single mother from Kagumoini village in Gatundu South, was sadly found dead on January 18, 2025, at the Kimunyu shrine caves.

Nearby, empty bottles containing unknown liquids were found, indicating she might have been drugged before her death.
